– Sorokhaibam Jayananda Singh

I am Sorokhaibam Jayananda Singh, an individual driven by a strong desire to serve people, support young minds, and contribute to the development of my community in Lamsang Kendra, Manipur.

My educational journey has given me opportunities to explore different fields, gain knowledge, and develop a broader understanding of the world.

From completing my schooling in Guwahati and Dehradun to pursuing higher education in agriculture and music production, every stage of my life has contributed to shaping my perspective and ambitions.

I believe that education becomes truly meaningful when we use our knowledge and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of others. 

This belief motivates me to work towards the welfare of my people, particularly the youth, who deserve opportunities, encouragement, and the right support to build a better future.

My commitment to society goes beyond words. I have participated in various activities to support people and contribute to community welfare, and I intend to continue these efforts in the years ahead.

For me, progress means creating opportunities, listening to people’s needs, encouraging young talent, and working together to build a stronger and more inclusive society.

My purpose is simple: to use my knowledge, experience, and dedication to contribute meaningfully to the people and community I belong to.

My mission is to work consistently for the welfare of people, support the aspirations of young people, and contribute to practical solutions for the challenges faced by our community.

I believe leadership is not just about holding a position; it is about taking responsibility, listening to people, and turning genuine concerns into meaningful action.

Through community initiatives, public engagement, innovative thinking, and collective effort, I aim to encourage participation and create opportunities for progress.

My Personal Journey

– Learning, Growing, and Serving

Every journey shapes the person we become. Mine has been a journey of education, exploration, and a growing desire to contribute something meaningful to society.

My Educational Foundation

I completed my Class 10 education at Kaziranga English Academy in Guwahati and my Class 12 education at Miles Bronson Residential School. These formative years laid the foundation for my personal and academic growth.

I later graduated from UCBMSH in Dehradun, continuing my journey towards higher education and professional development.

Exploring Agriculture and Creativity

My interest in learning led me to pursue a master’s-level agricultural education at PDDUIAS, Utlou. This experience strengthened my connection with agriculture and helped me recognise the importance of knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions in supporting farmers.

I believe farmers deserve access to better opportunities, modern machinery, and innovative methods that can make agricultural work more efficient and productive. In the future, I want to apply my agricultural knowledge to support the farming community of Lamsang Kendra.

My journey also took me to AAFT in Noida, where I pursued music production. Exploring a creative field alongside my other educational interests broadened my perspective and allowed me to develop an appreciation for different forms of learning and expression.

A Commitment to My People

Beyond education, my growing interest has been in the welfare of people and the future of our youth. I have been involved in various activities to support people in different ways, and these experiences have strengthened my desire to continue contributing to society.

I believe the true value of education lies not only in personal achievement but also in how we use our knowledge to help others.

As I move forward, I want to combine what I have learned with practical action, innovative ideas, and a commitment to community welfare. My journey is still continuing, and I hope to make a meaningful contribution to the people of Lamsang Kendra and to the future generations who will shape our society.
